Waterproofing

Waterproofing Your Roof

Unless you want buckets to be a design element of your home, you need to make sure that your roof is watertight. Waterproofing the roof is probably the most important step in roofing because it protects everything in your house from getting wet. Avoiding leaks in the ceiling is easy if you know how. If a leak has been  found, then a roof repair will be necessary.

Waterproofing your roof can keep your roof safe from damage from rain and wind. This will protect your home or business even after the most damaging storms. It also helps with water intrusions, heat, UV rays, and corrosion.

Waterproofing is an important part of roofing. We believe that the best way to make a roof and the building under it watertight is by using coatings. We will take time to show you waterproofing options, and what works best in Florida's climate.

The most common type of roofing coating is asphalt. This material comes in many grades, and some are better for different climates than others. The best coatings are usually a bit more expensive up front but save money over time by not having to repair leaks or replace the roof as often. For this reason we recommend you choose an elastomeric membrane (EM) as the most affordable solution to roof waterproofing.

We also offer a variety of other coatings for different needs, including epoxy coatings for metal roofs and acrylics that are designed to withstand harsh environments like salt water or chemical exposure.

Our waterproofing company is made up of experienced, skilled, and safety-trained professionals. We use the highest quality materials. Think about your roof coating system for 10 years with at least watertight performance. Our teams know how to apply the coatings using specifications from manufacturers. We are roofing professionals that have been in the industry for more than 15 years. We've seen a lot of roofs, and we know what it takes to waterproof them so they last longer.

Waterproofing your roof is good and you can have a roof that does not leak. If there are leaks, they are sealed up. Other things like flashing damages or seams need to be repaired if necessary. The whole roof gets a sealant with polyester fabric so nothing can happen to the waterproofing membrane after that.

We have many coating systems that work on most roofs. Metal roofs, modified bitumen roofs, PVC roofing, TPO Roofs and EPDM rubber roofs are all coated by our systems. Flat rooftops can also be coated by our coatings to keep them clean and water tight. We have a system for low slopes too!

There are many advantages of having your roof covered with an acrylic or polyurethane polymer. Coatings are applied in a fluid form and then they dry to provide a seamless coat. The membrane is impenetrable by UV rays, which prevents rapid deterioration, which is another reason for water intrusion. Coatings are elastic so they gently  snap back to their original form if they are pushed or pulled, which is why we like them.
